Ophiuchus(off-ee-yoo-kuhs) is the thirteenth Sun sign that has been known since ancient times by various names to many cultures across the world, but left out of mainstream astrology.

Being the thirteenth sign, Ophiuchus has no sign in opposition within the Zodiac, and can be associated with the Awakening and Ascension. The belief of the Mayans was that at the end of time, man would rouse the serpent god Kukulcan (also known as Quetzalcoatl to the Aztecs) to rescue the world from destruction allowing the nine races of man to move forward.

As we reach for our highest potential as Spiritual and Physical beings, Ophiuchus is now being observed and included.
